Forest Certification
The context
Today environmentally conscious customers and businesses across the world are increasingly demanding an assurance from their suppliers that the product they source do not directly or indirectly results in deforestation, illegal logging and adverse social and environmental problems as a result of the sourcing and processing and manufacturing of the product.
Forest certification has emerged as a solution to meet such demand. The demand for forest certification and labelled products has increased in the marketplace. In many cases without meeting the forest certification requirements, your business in both domestic and international markets would be at risk. Studies indicate that there is lack of awareness and capacity, particularly in developing countries to meet the certification requirements.

EUDR Awareness & Capacity Building
Awareness about European Union Regulation on Deforestation free products (EUDR)
We offer awareness and capacity building about European Union Regulation on Deforestation free products (EUDR) to support the exporters to the EU Market.
Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on Deforestation free products entered into force on 29 June 2023 and have 18 months to implement the EUDR. Micro and small entrepreneurs have longer time period for adaption.
The commodities are: Wood, Coca, Palm Oil, Soy, Coffee, Rubber and Cattle.
